La nouvelle a été annoncée par Madame le Premier Ministre, Elisabeth Borne : à partir de janvier 2024, les jeunes pourront passer le permis de conduire dès 17 ans
Si la mesure peut être saluée en ce qu’elle vise à favoriser la mobilité des jeunes et le travail de ces derniers, elle entraînera très probablement des questions juridiques complexes notamment en cas d’accidents ou de délits routiers concernant ces mineurs titulaires du permis de conduire.
En effet, et pour rappel, les parents restent responsables de leurs enfants mineurs.
Reste donc à savoir comment les tribunaux règleront ces contentieux de responsabilité complexes… Affaire à suivre
